# How much does MyWay Route Planner cost?

You can optimize routes with up to 15 stops (locations/addresses) for free. If you need more, start a free trial of the full version of MyWay (Premium). With Premium, you can optimize routes with up to 200 stops, depending on your [vehicle type](/guides/understand-vehicle-settings.md#stop-limits).

MyWay offers Premium when you choose the stop order for a route with more than 15 stops. You can also open the offer any time: open the menu (☰, top right) and tap **Get Premium**. The free trial is available once per Apple ID.

#### Why do I have to pay?

MyWay Route Planner has a free plan and a paid subscription for those who use the app for business or need more stops and features. Every month, we pay for app infrastructure, third-party services (map providers, address databases, servers), salaries, R\&D and more. We don't show ads, so we rely on subscriptions to exist and grow.

We want everyone to have access to route optimization, so we decided to offer 15 stops (locations/addresses) per route for free, and our price is the most affordable on the market. Most of our competitors don't offer any free optimizations, and [some offer only 5 to 10 stops for free](https://mywayroute.com/myway-route-planner-vs-alternatives).

Our main goal has always been to save you time and money on fuel. From our point of view, the app price, which equals 1–2 gallons (3–6 liters) of petrol per month, is fair, and you can recover it after a single optimization. We also have [discounts for people who work in non-profit organizations and volunteers](/subscription-management/special-pricing-for-non-profit-organizations-and-volunteers.md), so that we can play our part in making this world a better place together.

#### Premium Options

We have two [premium options](https://mywayroute.com/pricing), and prices vary by country:

1. Monthly Plan
2. Annual Plan

You see the price for your country in the app before you subscribe. If you're on the Monthly Plan, you can switch to the Annual Plan: open the menu and tap **Switch to Annual Plan**.

If MyWay isn't right for you, **you can cancel any time during your trial and won't be billed**. If you keep using MyWay, your monthly (or annual) subscription starts automatically when the trial ends.

You can [cancel your subscription](/subscription-management/how-to-cancel-your-myway-subscription.md) at any time. After you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of your billing period and aren't billed again.
