# How to upgrade/downgrade MyWay subscription?
Learn about how to upgrade or downgrade your subscription on iPhone and iPad

If your subscription is not recognised, please follow [this instruction](/v3/subscription-management/myway-does-not-recognize-my-subscription.md) before doing any upgrade or downgrade.
MyWay has two plans: Monthly and Annual.
### **Upgrade from Monthly to Annual in the app**
* Tap the menu button (three lines, top right corner of the map).
* In the "Subscription" section, tap "Switch to Annual Plan". It shows how much you save with the annual plan.
* Tap "Upgrade" and confirm the purchase.
Your plan switches at the next renewal date of your monthly plan, so you are not charged twice. MyWay shows the date of the switch.
### **Change your subscription in iPhone Settings**
You can also change your subscription (for example, from Annual back to Monthly) in your iPhone Settings:
* Open the Settings app 
* Make sure you're signed in with the correct Apple ID.
* Tap your name
* Tap "Subscriptions"
* Select the MyWay subscription (\*)
* Select a new subscription type from the available options
* Confirm the new subscription
You can also open this screen from MyWay: menu > "Manage Subscription".
