# How to change or add a payment method?

Follow these instructions to change or add a payment method on iPhone and iPad

You can change or add a payment method by following these instructions:

### **Apple App Store (iPhone, iPad)** <a href="#ios-iphone-or-ipad" id="ios-iphone-or-ipad"></a>

* Open the Settings app <img src="https://help.apple.com/assets/61B370B8020DEA0A024710E6/61B370BA020DEA0A02471109/en_US/492fec5aff74dbdef9b526177c3804b4.png" alt="" data-size="line">
* Tap your name.
* Tap "Payment & Shipping". You might need to sign in with your Apple ID.
* Tap the payment method, then tap "Edit", or tap "Add Payment Method".
* Change your information and tap "Done".

If Apple can't charge your payment method for the subscription, MyWay shows a "Payment Problem" message in the menu. Tap "Manage Subscription" there to update your payment method before the date shown, so you don't lose Premium.
