# Is there any difference in functionality between iOS version and Android version of MyWay?

Yes. The iOS app (iPhone and iPad) is MyWay 3, the new version of the app. The Android app is still on version 2, so it looks different and some features work differently or are not available yet.

This knowledge base describes the iOS app. If you use MyWay on Android, see [Version 2 of this knowledge base](https://help.mywayroute.com/).

To see what's new in the iOS app, check [What's new in MyWay 3](/v3/what-is-myway-route-planner/whats-new-in-myway-3.md).

Your subscription is tied to the store where you bought it: the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android. A subscription bought on one platform doesn't work on the other.
